evil little b'stard
bit of an homage to Rik Mayall in the title.
so i was hoping to post before midnight but as i sat down to sort todays blip Mrs McD came wandering over and said "oh can i have the laptop? just for 5 minutes, i forgot about an email i have to send for work." so me being mr nice guy said, "of course darling take all the time you want."
that was very nearly two hours ago. last time she gets on before me.
so today i escaped child minding duties as the mother in-law is off for the week. this gave me time to apply for 5 more jobs today and chase up this "will it/ won't it" scenario regarding the other job.
still got out with Baby McD tonight as we went over to meet Mrs McD from work and then go out for something to eat. well the journey started well and lexie wasplodding along nicely when all of a sudden she just slowed up. at this point i picked her up and within 30 seconds she was out cold on my shoulder. oh how i miss being a kid and travelling in style. got a great shot of her crashed out in a comfy chair in starbucks (well i had to recover from carrying her most of the way to Mrs McD's office.)
she did wake up as we left there in search of food and after we had eaten we all strolled across tower bridge and along the river to london bridge station. got a lot of nice shots on the way home (a bit touristy though) but went with this ugly little shit. i'm sorry, i know it's an irrational fear but i don't care. i made my point regarding spiders in a very early blip and if anything my feelings towards them have gotten worse.
this one though was standing right in the middle of the pavement almost daring the crowds of people to step on him. i swear under the streetlight he looked like he was waiting to mug someone. thanks to Mrs McD for spotting this as my bodies own natural defence system must have kicked in and i never walked anywhere near him. got some odd looks from the folks passing by as i tried to blip him though. i do enjoy those questioning looks and ones of puzzlement.
anyway the job interview should be sorted tomorrow...................this is all beginning to sound a bit familiar.
have a good day folks.
