It's a dogs life!

Posing!

Here I am posing for the camera in the woods today. I was EVERSO good. I sat and waited and had my photo taken from every angle until mum got the right shot. I was rewarded by THREE pieces of chicken!

Well, as I told you, it was time to make some mischief today and when I found out that Daddy was taking me on my morning walk I thought...hee...hee....hee, he isn't half as strict as mum, so I could try and get away with ANYTHING *giggle*

So, we went to the field near the river, it was early, beautiful and quiet and sunny. Daddy and I were trotting along nicely enjoying the morning air when, I stopped, tail wagging and saw PEOPLE in my field and not only PEOPLE but PEOPLE doing EXERCISES...... OH MY GOODNESS how EXCITING! It was a boot camp (but I didn't see any boots?) They were doing press ups and running and shouting ALOT. I was SHAKING with excitement, planning my move, which one would I go and lick first............then just as I was about to pick up speed and make my entrance....I felt a firm hand grab my collar. Booooo Daddy had guessed what I was up too. Damn, blast and bother. The lead went on and we walked on past. Right, I thought, keep looking out for your next move Lily. He will let you off again soon.... and so he did.... right near the RIVER!! Hee hee......doesn't he know that the first thing I do is jump straight in!

I ran straight over and leapt. Daddy was behind me shouting for me but it sounded nothing like the chicken holler that mum does. So I carried on and jumped in. hee hee hee! It was great! I did come out in the end and we walked along the sea wall but I never went back to daddy when he called. Do you know that he went out walking a puppy like me with NO TREATS with him. No chicken, not even any biscuits. So I didn't see the point in going back when he called.

This afternoon in the woods I was PERFECT for mum in front of daddy. Well......she does always remember the chicken.........

I am getting an early night tonight as I am meeting my friends Casper and Stanley and the new lovely puppy Briar and her big sister Molly tomorrow at the Cotswold Water Park. Apparently there is a special dog SWIMMING beach. I CAN'T WAIT :-)

Bye for now

I can't believe that I still made the spotlight page yesterday. I thought I was too boring and well behaved for you all, thank you sooooo much. I know that it doesn't matter now what I do. You all still love me :-) xxx
