We set off for North Wales in glorious sunshine and took in a visit to Conwy castle. If you asked a child to draw a castle you would end up with something like Conwy castle, with battlements, arrow slits and turrets and towers at every corner. It also affords great views over the little harbour.
There were lots of tourists, young and old, visiting the castle.
In the evening we went to Bodnant gardens to a concert of favourite opera pieces and hits from the shows. It finished quite early so we drove down to the Great Orme to watch the sunset.
