My Mom Grandma BM....

I would like to introduce you to my Mom Brenda, who was born today in 1928, this was when the top hit was " Making Whoopee by Eddie Cantor.
Also Born that year were, Shirley Temple, Bo Diddley, Rosemary Clooney, Burt Bacharach, and Fats Domino just to name but a few.
Cost of the Daily Mail in 1928 was 1 1/4d, a pint was 5d (2p).
But remarkable as it seems John Logie Baird demonstrated colour TV for the first time. The Olympic Games were in Amsterdam, (Thanks Orchid)

She has never been one for a fuss, so we surprised her with a birthday cake and two candles on it, along with all the presents we and the kids had bought her.

She struggles a little with her one hip but is generally in good health, but misses Dad like crazy as he passed away some three years ago.
She is soon to be a Great Grand Mother in July and is looking forward to holding her Great Grand Daughter.

We wish her good health and a long life.
