Fancy a swim?

We had some big storms today - lots of rain and some bolts of lightening accompanied by the man with the rumbly tummy (thunder in the mind of a 3 year old).

The bowling club across from us appears to have a drainage problem and ended up looking like a swimming pool.

But they obviously have a big match this evening and as soon as the rain stopped they were out using all means possible to try to shift the water. As I type there are three optimists out there with various forms of technology (!) and about ten realists watching and shaking their heads.

I wish them well but it's raining again. After all, it is summer !

I'll keep you posted if they manage to get out there..... And here they are in more temperate weather.
