Shell Beach

At the far end of village, the beach is just fabulous. What's more it made-up of millions of shells.

Today we went for a treasure hunt round Castle Douglas, then I took the family to a terrific picnic site over-looking the Galloway countryside.

Terrific in the way that every picnic-site should come complete with dozens of cow-pats.
