View from Tate Modern
A backblip
With the girls still away with the scouts, Bert and I took the opportunity to visit London for a few days. Driving over we were met in England by a grey and wet sky. We stayed at Lensbury as I am still a "remote member". So when we were settled in we took a train up to the city center.
This is the view from Tate Modern overlooking the Thames towards St Paul's Cathedral, just at the moment the sun came out. Beautiful evening light and still the remnants of the rain clouds - beautiful!
We were at the Tate Modern to see the exhibition from Taryn Simons and couldn't resist the photos of Diane Arbus. If you get the opportunity to visit the Taryn Simons exhibition, I can highly recommend it! - a very interesting series, such an interesting idea!
