The Visitor

This is my neighbour's cat, who came to sleep in my lounge today.

In the past he has often been chased away, because he eats my cat's food. But I have come to believe that hospitality must be shown to all, and he is welcomed now!

I imagine DH Lawrence felt the same way about his visitor.
