Pilot boat, entering Amsterdam

Nearing the end of the Arctic Circle cruise, we saw the pilot boat approach just after midnight and ventured out of the comfort of the Martini Bar to take a look. I can see why people take back-to-back cruises as packing your bags is perfectly beastly after nearly two weeks at sea! My admiration for those who work many months at a time away from shore has increased a lot too. I think it's an inner ear thing, but I still seem to feel the rolling of the waves here in Amsterdam (and no, I haven't been to a coffee shop).
