NAB

This is the reason for my annual trips to Las Vegas, the NAB show.
This is the largest broadcast and radio show in the world; this is the shot of the south lower hall. As Avid and Apple did not have stands this year, Thomson had about the largest stand at the show, it was HUGE! Over 120 x 200ft.
The hall is about a kilometre long and there hundreds of booths, from the major companies with big show budgets at the front to the smaller niche companies near the back. Some times the most interesting technologies and products are tucked away on small stands hidden around the show.
There is normally over a 100,000 people at this show, many of whom can be seen here, heading from the taxi line.

My next big show is IBC in Amsterdam in September.
