Gastronomy

Today we went to the Festival de la Gastronomie de Québec. At first, I was a bit disappointed but it turned out to be lots of fun. We tasted a lot of new food and drinks.

At one point there was a chefs duel. Two excellent chefs from Québec City were put against each other and the goal was to design the best plate with 5 ingredients given to them at the last minute. They had twenty minutes to cook it and serve it.

This one is the losing plate because it's the one I voted for and the one who should have won. There.
