The Mrs

Went to the theatre this evening. Of course, on the way out the car (which was fine all day yesterday and today) completely refused to start so we had to get a last minute taxi. Pesky vehicle.

The play was "Trumpets and Raspberries" (at the Lyceum) and was an irreverent political satire with a strong hint of slapstick. Very entertaining! We went for a beer afterwards, and my wife was presented with hers in this fantastic glass - it makes her look like a midget! She was quite non-plussed by its arrival as you can see.

Very nice evening to round off the week!
