Dresden, erster Teil

Back from Dresden. It was really a nice city, especially for having been all rebuilt.
I'm not sure how the old buildings were rebuilt (or if they were destroyed at all), but they were all black and dirty/sooty looking. The city was awesome from across the Elbe at night, but unfortuantely I forgot my camera.

Excellent weather, warm and sunny the whole time.

Anyway, this was from the top of the Rathaus tower. It was a great view, actually the first time I'd been up in anything... a fairly common practice in Europe.

There were statues on several buildings, and I thought this was a cool shot.
