Pink dawn

It's been raining and the wind blowing hard since we got back from Europe on Wednesday afternoon. It's chilly and miserable, even with our wood burning stove going flat out.

This morning has dawned much like yesterday, with a rain squall passing through. Unlike yesterday, however the morning light is an extraordinary pale pink.

Fortunately, I was able to shoot this from an upstairs window without braving the elements outside.
