A familiar corner

The 6 for 5 offer is always a surprise clincher for me, I only want a couple of cans but each extra can draws one nearer to 5.

So 3 cans, which is more than half way to 5, is not worth buying as you are really better off getting six cans which you are only 2 away from.

2 cans is a small price to pay for such an impressive upgrade. And if you were to buy only 3 cans you would be getting ripped off, but 6 cans really stitches the shop guy up.

My smugness at realising that I am of superior inteligence by choosing to buy six cans is always contained but the fact that I constantly forget that I cant fit six cans in one hand. 5 is OK so I always think that I can just balance the sixth.

But it always falls on my foot at the till, which has tought me to drink that one last.
