Pierowall boat

We decided to spend our holidays this year island hopping on our bikes. Well, the actual island hopping would be on the ferries but you know what I mean.

First stop... Westray.

Camp set up in no time, thanks to our return to two small tents rather than the circus tent nonsense we've had the past few years. A pleasure rather than a chore.

Dinner and a few beers at the hotel in Pierowall. Followed by a wander back to the campsite whilst watching lots of little yachts zipping about in the evening sun getting ready for the regatta at the end of July. I attempted to take some pics of them but they were too far away and too fast.

Instead, this boat was lazing around on the beach so I managed to catch it fairly easily.
