School's out for Summer!

End of term - YAYYYYYYYY!!!! My colleagues and I went out for a meal to celebrate. I was at the same restaurant last month, when I was disappointed because I didn't have time for pudding! No such worries this time; that creme brule was MINE, bwahaha!

It was a bit sad last night as we said a (hopefully temporary) farewell to my dear friend Caroline, who is starting Adoption Leave next month. Sad for me, but happy for Caroline and her husband who are adopting three children. It's quite an undertaking, but I can't think of anyone better suited for the role. They are going to be the most wonderful parents and it is lovely to think that those little ones are going to stay together and not be split up.
