Burning

This is Stromness Shopping Week.

As far as I can make out, this does not involve a lot of shopping but does involve a lot of people enjoying themselves and doing a whole week's worth of crazy things.

As this year is the 60th anniversary they decided to invite a load of vikings down from Shetland to burn a longship.



If you look closely at the viking on the left you may be able to make out that he is reading something... I wonder what?
