Just a Casualty Left on the Sidewalk

I didn't squish him. Just found him this way. And of course felt the need to document it.

*front view - probably the creepiest set of eyes i've ever seen on a bug
*for a size comparison - almost as long as my tube of chapstick

Back to get my blood drawn. For the last time in the near future. Thank goodness.

Other potential blip:
*linked hands on the statue

Friday story update...

Reminder that this is a story, not drawn from my life or anyone I know. This is entirely a work of fiction. Any likeness to actual events or people is entirely coincidental and completely possible.

Where we left off last week...

A knock on the door. She winked at me. "And just in time, it seems."

The door opened and he re-entered wearing an awesome pair of jeans a black tshirt and a studded belt. He looked at me and smiled. "You ready?"
I was confused. "For what?"
A grin. "You'll see."
Casey shoved us out the door and into the hallway where we could hear the crowd chanting for the band. He pulled me by the hand and led me backstage. How lucky was I! This was turning out to be the best night ever!
The lights came up onstage revealing the band in their element. He took the mike and grinned at the crowd. "Sorry for the delay, folks! Let's get back to the show!"
The music grew and everyone in the venue seemed to get swept up in it. And I was backstage! He looked over at me where I was hiding in the wing and winked. Definitely the best night ever. How could it possibly get any better?
