Cycling to work

My cough has cleared up enough now that with the improved weather I decided to cycle to work today. It?s actually quicker for me to cycle in that it is to take the train, its just going to be tough getting back into that rhythm again.

The picture shows Alexanderplatz in the distance looking down Karl Marx Allee which was the flag ship construction program of East Germany. Ironically it highlights the problems of the East as much if not more that showing of its virtues. For me it has a cold bleak feeling to it rather than the open grandiose flair they hoped to demonstrate.
