Well today i planed to go riding and get some pics of me and some friends riding the toon. No such luck, its been raining all day best laid plans.

so i decided to go for a walk in the rain (cos im mental like that). I got completely soaked but this add amused me. I got to thinking how long ago was it put there? how much did robert laidlaw pay to put it there? did he think it was worth it? (i can imagin an older man in an overall saying to his two sons "I cant see why i have to shell out for this sign, everyone knows where to come if they need a brush".) and is the company still going? I love the way you can see by the white lines where this had been covered by a modern billbord gives it a kind of hiden tresure quality.

I know its not a beutiful old building but i think it fits nicely in the look up catagory
after all its old and easy to miss and you do have to look up to see it.
