The Blood in These Veins

History of Rock tonight.

Made me a little sad, thinking about all of the amazing artists that were taken before their time.

Which led to thoughts of what my life would have been like had my great-uncle Danny not died in June of 1954 at the age of 33. This shot is in tribute to him. An original "member" of Bill Haley and the Comets, he recorded a guitar solo that supposedly influenced several musicians, including Jimi Hendrix.

I wish I could have met him.
