Today I had to go without my bike. Both my and my roommate's bikes' back tires blew out. I park 3/4th mile from campus every day, so it sucks even more. Not only it's "3/4th" mile from the southern part of campus (whereas I park south of campus), but my class was on north side of campus, which is another 1/2 mile. Jeez. I walked over 10 miles today, or more. I actually lost weight from all these damn walking.

Because it's often sunny in Arizona, and I hated to walk in the sun, especially while I'm wearing my hat to protect from getting sunburnt, it was too hot to wear hat most days (hats acts as blanket to keep the escaping heat from your head within the hat). Today, I found a shady path that leads directly from a building all of my classes are in, to the newspaper office. This blip above shows the park scenery of that path along Park Ave. I was dumb enough not to notice this path while I walk in the sun-blistered sidewalk 50 feet away on the street.

Speaking of weight. I weighted around 245 while living in Rochester, NY. I was miserable. During the first year of living in Arizona, I've lost about 5-10 pounds. Since June, I've lost 15-18 more. I'm now 221 pound, officially. Mostly had to do with playing lacrosse again. I used to weight at 200-205 before I went to RIT for first time, which was 5 years ago.

Another evidence of weight loss. I bought this belt that I started at the first hole. 1 month later I moved on to second hole (smaller waist). By June, third hole. August, 4th hole. This morning, I'm down to my last hole. the 5th. That's about 5 inches of waist and it wasn't even tight. My pants I bought in December that I can barely fit in, is now baggy. I'm much happier.

A reject.
