The Holy Deity

this is a shot of a temple (Hindu place of worship) - a few mins walk from my home in Kolkata. The architecture is superb but unfortunately they dont allow photography inside the premises so I clicked while on a boat ride from the river.

Farsidehues comes to my place today and tomorrow morning we start a journey into the rural Bengal to my village. That stillness of that place always attracts me and whenever I happen to be in the city during my vacations, I make it a point to visit my village at least for a day.
