My attempt at a Patrick Hoelck style portrait.
Unfortunatly the one that best imitated Patrick Hoelcks style was this one, but I chose this one because i feel that it is the one that most accurately captures my mate Bob (Jeremy).
Little bit of background of Bobby. He is a genius. One of those genius kids you read about and think oooooooh. He is one of them. He is also a musical genius, and has perfect pitch and more diplomas than you can count.
A few years ago when I first met him he was a little bit shy, but had lots of friends despite that he was still very tense socially. He wasn't fully clued up on how to act around people, still wore tracksuits everywhere because he'd rather wear clothes that were comfortable than those that made him look good and he made a lot of people vary nervous to be around him. He was very brutal and direct with his questions, and this made many people uncomfortable to around him.
So I met him, and within a few hours we had talked through the finer points of politics, how irrational people are and the true meaning of religion. (I'm not religious - he is).
Long story short. A few years later he now dresses like a gentleman, he is confident, people love him and he has a beautiful (and equally intelligent) girlfriend.
I wanted to see if I could display my friendship with him in a photo, his intelligence and prowess.. but still incredibily fragile and scared nature.
How have I done?
