On the Sunday we visited The Collesseum, of which I had some lovely shots against a beautiful sky but I have picked this photo taken from the Forum.

I had never been in this part before and was astonished at the scale of these arches! Rome is an amazing and majestic city that I love above all others! This is dedicated to Fudgebrownie who has been my Roma buddy 4 times now!!


We joined a tour around the Collesseum and Palatine Hill in a bid to escape the large queues, it was a really lovely day but once in the Forum we failed to pay full attention as we were scavaging for mosaic pieces in the dirt!!
