Bananas grow rampant

There are two areas of the garden where banana trees grow wild and are in desparate need of maintenance. I was chopping a few down and noticed this flower, the only one so far on a tree I was just about to destroy. I haven't seen them open and form the fruit yet so it will be quite interesting over the next few weeks.
