5 types of weather

My boy went home today, at some ridiculous hour of the morning well ok it was 8:22, but in all fairness we had to get up really early to get to the station on time for Carl to get the train.
After that I came back and tried to get on with some work. I don't know what was going on with the weather over Liverpool. It was alternating between sun, rain, hail, wind, and snow. My friends were across in Widnes and apparently it was thunder and lightninging there too.
I'm all for weather, but one kind at a time please. Multiple weather conditions are just plain confusing when we get them all at once.
