Snowflakes in the dark

Bit of a hairy journey home from work today as the snow closed in, but luckily it soon stopped and it was the ice that caused most problems. Still, it is startling what havoc a few sharp showers can create and also interesting that even though I only live three miles from work, it can be wet in the village but impassable on the farm: Because it is a steady climb all the way, the snow just gets worse and worse as you go up the valley.
