D'oh!!

Friday - 5am start for a 5.50am train to London. First Class (the company was picking up the tab).

Taxi arrives, still asleep I stumble onto the train. Feeling smug as I have fifteen minutes to spare. I settle down snap a few photos and dig out my ticket (or so I thought).

The train pulls out, conductor arrives and I suddenly find out that I have actually left the ticket in the office...

In case you didn't know. A first class single from Edinburgh to London is one hundred and seventy five pounds! That woke me up! I can supposedly claim it back as I did actually have a ticket for the train. I hope so. I can see a few months of to-ing and fro-ing until I see the cash again though.

Luckily SJ was heading down after her work and she met Ka7ana who passed her my tickets - meaning that I could come back up without shelling out another one hundred and seventy five pounds.
