Winter Wooliness

I decided that I'm fed up looking for the perfect long wooly scarf so I'm going to knit my own. Plus giving my hands something to do while watching TV should stop me wolfing down choccy biscuits and aid my battle with the bulge! I've never knitted anything from scratch before and had to learn to cast on with the help of a book and a detailed phonecall from my mum! (they make it look much harder in the book than it actually is) I'm insanely proud that I actually managed to do it :O) Its really addictive though, this should have been mondays blip but its now 2am...... The sad and sleepy existence of me!
