Make a Wish

Today is Mr. DH's birthday. We baked some cupcakes (vanilla/vanilla) with blue icing (his favorite color) and 'beauty sprinkles' (my daughter's touch). I thought I had thoroughly gone over the part where "we're going to surprise daddy when he comes in and sing happy birthday," but that didn't stop our daughter from running out the door as soon as she heard him come home and shouting, "Daddy! Daddy! We made surprise cupcakes for your birthday!"
