The sap

You have the tree, the tap, the can and the cover. Hundred of gallons of syrup... one drop at a time.

Louis boiled all afternoon, maybe 500 liters of sap, to get 10 liters of syrup. He never stops watching it, it must not stick to the bottom of the pan. Sometimes, we lose him in it.

We also had taffy on the snow, kids love it, they're also very impressed by the whole thing.
