Sticks in the Sand
Today was a very gloomy and cold day - but hey, no rain! We visited Bamburgh and Holy Island, wrapped up in winter woollens that we sensibly had brought with us to counter the chill northern wind.
Again, I took many shots of many marvellous sights - this not being one of them.
These sticks (more like big timbers) stretch between Holy Island and the mainland. This view, from the island looked very interesting and, although I took about 30 shots, trying to get the best angle, the blip on show was actually one of two taken by my wife, Jenny. I feel it best achieves what I wanted to achieve.
As for the black and white, well that most appropriately captures the atmospheric conditions of the day.
