Rascal

Bob calls him Rascal and carries a bag of treats in his pocket just for this littlest deer. Nor are we the only ones who come to the park bearing treats. Since one of the Rangers gave us a lecture last week on the harm caused by feeding the deer, we are very careful where we hand out his treats. Yesterday a different Ranger caught Bob feeding him, but he didn't say anything once Bob explained that he only feeds the little one. We're not trying to put the entire herd (and it's a large one) on the dole. We just want to help this little guy survive the winter. Look here if you want to see more pictures of Rascal.
