drops of snow

meandered into work taking lots of shots of a snowy holyrood park - well, i knew there was no work waiting for me and that the snow could vanish by my day off tomorrow! i've uploaded them onto facebook but you should be able to get a glance via this link. there's a daylight version of yesterday's blip among them, showing what a slightly more sensible iso setting (combined with daylight) gives you.

i went out at lunchtime for a little meander and found that things were getting distinctly slushy - so much for snow-lined tree branches and artfully snowy gravestones which i'd mentally lined up! but the secret garden still provided a few xmas card 2009 possibilities - and also this angle, which i thought rather nifty.
