Hard getting back into swing of work afer holiday weekend - especially when said weekend was spent working harder than is normal (or healthy). Still a welcome break from DIY...until shit hit fan. Even a vist from High Heid Yin in a Red adair-esque role did little to quel situation, still these thngs happen, just wish we'd realsied it was unresolvable from the outset, rather than working on until after 8pm.

Can't quite decide exactly what this means - was it Chopin's last concert, I think it must have been. But surely it could have been worded better "Chopin's last concert took place on 4 October 1848 in the Hopetoun Rooms, which were on this site".

I have been told that the room was beautiful, but unfortunately the whole building was demolished in the 1960s and replaced with a very dull building.
