Ice Caves
Saturday I went to visit the Ice Caves off Meyer's Beach, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Cornucopia, Wisconsin. It was a 4+ hour trek of climbing, sliding, crawling, & walking that left me bruised and sore, but worth all of it. We ended of exploring 3+ miles of the shoreline that afternoon (that is a 6+ mile stroll!) and I cannot wait to do it again next year.
Word to the Wise: Wear ice grippers on your boots! I believe the absence of the forementioned are the root of my soreness on the walk back the rest can be blaimed on a lack of general exercise, haha.
