Art?

Today was a busy day. Up early and off to Riccarton markets to buy (lots) more plants. Then of the dump with last load of garden waste. Then planting.

Started at 9, finished at 5, absolutely stuffed.

In between this, the kids went to a birthday party, and also decided to face paint themselves. I was tempted to show Hannah's full (body) paint job, but this is just such a funny shot of her!

HPX came over for dinner, been ages since we've seen her. Was great, hope things go well in the next few weeks ...

So it's a good time to summarise some of my recent blip thoughts. Yesterday I did the founding member thing. To be honest, I am unlikely to use any of the benefits so I didn't see a great deal of value, but for me it's more a recognition of nearly 600 previous blips, plus a few going forward I expect. And then, I use the site everyday - that's worth a lot!

I am also vacillating between trying to blip things that are good and things that are markers or milestones. Today is a milestone, I just back blipped a few days away with kids several weeks ago - they are milestones also. I had lots of great art shots, but in the end went with family type shots. So blip remains a conundrum for me - daily journal, or great photography. Or both. One day I'll figure that out!
