The late summer sun

Commando crawling honey bees and dainty dandilion clocks.
Green grass, so soft you just want to lie in it for hours.
A blue sky, bluer than the bluest blue.
Somewhere in the distance, a lawnmower drones drearily
Lullaby, sleep little baby
Breathe softly, slow your heart
Feel my arms around you
You are safe in my embrace
I will watch while you dream
Of winnings you have won
Of triumphs you have done
Of all the things to come
Of peace
Of love
Of happiness
Of all the things you deserve
Under the late summer sun.

Sometimes it's best just not to choose. To sit in the sun, listen to the sounds around you, take a few photographs and remember why you are here.

Sometimes it's best just to let the words flow and write them as they come.

Sometimes it's best just not to think about it.

Just let it be. Because it is.
