Wee Tree

I was photographing bonsai trees with my son this evening on behalf of the local Bonsai Society.

He snaffled the big backdrop and all the space.
He was also using 4 flashguns.

I had no space and a light that somebody had removed the umbrellas and reflectos from so I had a single bare bulbed studio flash to work with.
Not the best when you are working with small objects that have loadsloads of shadows in their own right.

Still, the oddodd mistake didend up looking not too bad.

The flowers on this one were tiny but lovely colours and shapes.
