The Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris)

We discovered this family this afternoon when we walked around on the estate to look for blipertunities.

They seem quite tame, they usually fly away as soon as they see you, but I had quite a few minutes to shoot today.

I forgot to mention on yesterday's blip, R jnr was the actual photographer of that particular cloud shot, he took the camera and snapped a few shots at the clouds and that specific one was taken with the camera turned sideways, which is something I never do, so I was very sure that it was his picture! ;-)
