Life is what happens between two pictures

Some days I feel just like it. That I miss all the essential in the world because I waste my time in trying to stop it in pictures. Today I missed the whole Battery Uphill Jam sessions where skiers and snowboarders were shot uphill into the air with a sling that's capable of giving them speed of over 100 km/h in the distance of mere 34 meters.

Originally the device was invented and developed by most famous finnish comedian, Spede Pasanen, thus known as Spede-sling is an awesome piece of engineering. Although it was never used by ski-jumpers, modern snowboarders in Finland found good new use for the original device as can clearly be seen.
