A stunning day today, especially for a bank holiday Monday. The parks were full with picnickers and families kicking balls around and playing cricket with makeshift wickets and, wandering around the botanical gardens, around every corner you would encounter couples, hand in hand, drifting along the paths like dandelion seeds.
