Day of dreams

A day of stunning weather in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Dave and I started off with some fishing below some lovely waterfalls in the sunshine. Then we met the others for a brilliant barbie, some paddling and tennis ball chasing (Purdey). Then back for a cabaret show put on by the children, dinner of my salmon from yesterday and finishing by launching a Chinese fire lantern into the starriest of crisp clear nights.

One of the most perfect days I can remember.

(Purdey and I had a great walk and doggy-shoot. She was a bit sick of me ordering her round and when I told her to sit in the daffodils, she looked at me as if I was mad and then lay down and rolled over to squash them all)
