Canterbury Cathedral

My first appointment of the day was at Canterbury Tales where I had a moment of utter discombobulation when Isabel from 'Take the High Road' appeared in the gift shop as I was talking to the manager. You know when you see someone famous and for a second you think you know them? I almost waved and trilled 'hiya' as she walked past until I realised at the last minute that I recognised her from the telly. Most bizarre - all the way to Canterbury to see a Scottish soap star!

In the afternoon I visited Canterbury Cathedral and actually had time to wander around inside with a visitors pass. What a fantastic place, just oozing history. I liked Canterbury a lot actually, a very cool place!
