Day Two of my Pentland Hill Challenge*... (day1)

The rain stayed off for my evening sojourn today in the hills above Carlops village. The lambing season is in full swing with the hills alive with their bleating, baa-ing and gambolling. Today's effort took 4 hills off the list with just over 2000ft of ascent over 7 miles. And then it was back in time for tea.



*My challenge to myself is to climb all the hills of the Pentlands on weekday evenings after work this summer.
