Finley at the Farm!

Day 2 of our holiday in the Peak District.

Had to travel to Nottingham in the morning for an appointment but were back at the cottage for lunchtime. Managed to do a huge shop at Sainsburys too - trouble is when you go to a different supermarket to usual I find you buy more, as you keep spotting brands you don't normally see, so spent a fortune!

My friend Paula came down with her 18 month old son Finley. She lives in Leeds so we don't see her as often as we'd like, but invited her to stay for a night with us in the cottage. Fin is great - takes a wee while to come out of his shell when he sees us but was soon being his usual livewire self! He loved seeing the lambs on the farm and the farmer even took him into the big barn to see the calves too - special treatment methinks as we didn't get offered that opportunity before he arrived haha! He also spotted this quad bike and was in his element when he was allowed to site on it for a few minutes! It was great to see them both and have a big catch up with them.
