Beech Hedge
I've been waiting to take this until it was at just the right stage - today's the day!
You can see that although we call it a beech hedge it's actually a row of quite separate trees - with at least 4 different colours. In a few weeks time they will all become a uniform dark copper red colour and the illusion will be complete!
Beech is a great material for hedging - unlike privet it only needs a trim once a year and topping off every other year. Low maintenance indeed (well, as Mr T does it, makes no difference to me!)
PS Rosemary bush in bottom left corner - if anyone wants some for cooking let me know, we've got loads to spare!
