Unfinished Business

After at least two years of inspiration, I've finally got around to starting my Blip. Thanks to (three)56 for consistently slick images and insightful comment. Not to mention continual inspiration in the odd world of professional design. Getting back into that world a couple of years ago was unfinished business for me.

Cheers, mate.

Here's another one. During WW2 my Dad carved a model of an American PT boat out of willow. Fashioned the hull, torpedoes, guns and cabin, all by eye. He was about 18, I think. He sort of got it going but never really finished it, even though it sat on his workbench, next to his tools up until the day he died.

Last month I finally got it running again, in the kitchen sink at home. Next job is fitting a rudder and giving her a coat of paint. One less piece of unfinished business.
